Klobuck is a town in Poland, with approx 13,193 inhabitants. Located in the Silesian Voivodeship, about 15 km northwest of Częstochowa, Kłobuck was granted town rights in 1339, during the reign of King Casimir III the Great.
Jan Długosz who is best known for his Annales seu cronici incliti regni Poloniae (Annals or Chronicles of the famous Kingdom of Poland) lived and worked as a canon of St. Martin church at Klobuck in 1434.
