If you’re a Nungurner, Metung, Art Lover and Horse Lover this Airbnb property ticks all your boxes. This area of East Gippsland is very pretty, but Nungurner location doubles that! The owners of this property manage several of their own as well other’s properties, so if you’re an out-of-towner without many contacts, knock on their doors.

When it comes to photographing this Airbnb property, which is located on the steep cliff overlooking the Nungurner beach and the pier with mooring for boats, using natural light and showing off the unique habitats surrounding all five properties was my focus.

Gippsland Airbnbs are uniquely fantastic

Jetty Road Retreat is a must visit place in Nungurner with its proximity to water and beautiful elevated water views. It’s perfect especially for families as the cosy Nungurner beach is very safe for the little ones. It is also uniquely positioned and attractive for couples looking for a private space or coming to spend some quiet time together. The place is regularly visited by birdlife, including colourful lorikeets and rosellas and has beautiful sunrises. From a perspective of my photography brief, I wanted to show it all.

Creative Photography Brief

The owner’s brief was to capture the essence of the place plus provide an interesting set of interior/exterior images of their holiday accommodation business. Here are some of the completed images on the Airbnb listing and my client website, Jetty Road Retreat.

My client’s brief was to provide a complete set of property photos for use on website, print and social media. I also captured the essence of the place taking a variety of interesting set of interior/exterior images to showcase the unique location of the property: surrounding nature, birds, early morning sun and really stunning sunsets.

My client has provided us with a generous night accommodation which was extremely thoughtful and made my the experience very comfortable. It also made the photoshoot planning much easier as we took advantage of the beautiful morning light to set up the shots and colourful sunsets at the nearby jetty. The houses were superb to photograph, they were well laid out with large windows overlooking the water and alfresco area for sipping some sparkling while watching the life slow down.
