Join Ballarat artists from SHAC – Soldiers Hill Artist Collective at their art studios open to public on all May weekends.

Soldiers Hill Artist Collective presents a self guided tour through the historic streets of Soldiers Hill. Over 20 Artists exhibit in venues within the front windows of old shop fronts, private residences, pubs and business dwellings.

Art Walk is an initiative of the Soldiers Hill Artist Collective (SHAC) to exhibit the works of Soldiers Hill artists and share some of our local historical knowledge around the streets of Soldiers Hill. Covering 1.52 square kilometres Soldiers Hill is an important heritage area that is covered entirely by the City of Ballarat Heritage Overlay. It is the earliest planned suburb of Ballarat.

SHAC is a diverse group of artists who all live in Soldiers Hill. We are focused on maintaining a sustainable framework for art projects within Soldiers Hill, creating a suburb that is both externally and internally identified as a place where creative diversity is valued and promoted as a community virtue.

All Artwork is for sale directly from the Artist.
