Burnt Orange is part of my Deep Sea series, developed during a three-month residency at Gasworks Arts Park in mid-2024. The series explores colour intensity, movement, and organic forms that evoke coral structures and underwater environments.
This work originates from an experimental painting created during the residency, where paint, pigments and layered processes produced vibrant, unpredictable compositions. The luminous blue form appears suspended against a radiant orange field, suggesting both marine life and abstract landscape.
Presented as a high-quality archival photographic print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310gsm, limited edition, signed on reverse with Certificate of Authenticity.
