Closing Statement

“I have never imagined that I will achieve such a great small success with My Australia exhibition & Open Studio. The idea evolved in just a couple of days before setting up the space and was one of the best creative uses of that space.  It was alive! I much prefer interacting with people in a way of creating a live studio installation and active participation. Some people have expresses joy, energy, playfulness, shyness, confidence, some were unsure what to do and some knew exactly what to do. Some were open to my directions, some weren’t. For me it was another fantastic opportunity of exploring the everyday Australia and taking part in a discussion about the place we all live in.”

I enjoyed everyday and every image I took. So I’d like to thank you all for lovely conversations and visiting this space in the last two weeks. My large format portraits are now moving to the City Library at Doveton St Nth so in case you’ve missed seeing them here, feel free to visit the library exhibition from Tuesday April 16th.
