Poles is a long-form documentary project that aims to document the rich and diverse history of the Polish diaspora in Australia, as well as the nostalgia that exists in migrant narratives. I seek to shed light on the Polish cultural practices, experiences and contributions of the Polish community as they venture far from their homeland and establish new vibrant communities abroad.
