It’s been more than 6 weeks of living in isolation. How do you deal with it and what are your strategies?
For someone like me who experiences an intense internal pressure of achieving, this time of living and working in isolation is surprisingly good for me, at the moment. I found that I have much less anxiety and more time for exercise and planning. But it’s not easy to be isolated, there are so many other feelings that may be in play, like the increased feeling of being alone if you haven’t got anyone around you.
We’ve been proactive, making sure we exercise more. It’s an opportunity to have less distractions, so more time to focus on things that I seldom had found time for before. Like digging my photo archives.
Themes of isolation have been quite evident in my photographic work. Here are some photographs and isolation shots that particularly speak of the current situation that we all find ourselves in.
