Slowly starting a new body of work, fragments of place, inspired by offcuts and various pieces of reclaimed timber found around Montsalvat.

I’ve been collecting these imperfect fragments and thinking about them as objects in their own right – their weight, grain, worn edges and history already present before I add more. Working intuitively, bringing paper, ink and paint onto the wood and seeing how each image responds to the surface beneath it.
